Roshutsu turns a nighttime walk into a stealth challenge for 22-year-old Rika Suto. Clothing can be removed and left behind, but getting back to it without attracting attention is another matter. The neighborhood supplies the cover, the witnesses and the occasional reason to regret where you put your outfit.
The Neighbors Change the Route
Alpha 8 changes how NPCs move: people travel between neighborhood exits and their homes instead of simply following fixed patrol points. Up to 20 can be present. A witness can alert nearby people, and discarded clothes can be picked up by someone else.
That build also removes the confidence health bar and records how often Rika is seen and for how long. The neighborhood stays at night, while the earlier story mode and apartment are removed. These are substantial changes, not just a prettier version of the same rules.
Why the Newer Download Has a Lower Number
In May 2025, Jaguar rereleased Alpha 7 as version 7.1 after players asked for access to features removed in Alpha 8. It restores that older branch with small fixes and updated links. It does not include the later NPC changes simply because its upload date is newer.
Development remains on indefinite hiatus. Jaguar has expressed interest in returning to the older branch but has not guaranteed more updates. Both versions are unfinished alpha releases.
Stealth, Clothes and Controls
The Windows game uses movement and camera controls, with controller support also described on the project page. Its focus is exhibitionism and avoiding detection, rather than intercourse. The separate alpha downloads make version choice part of the practical setup: select the older feature set or the experimental NPC overhaul.
