Erneste’s September rework gives Horizon Walker players a reason to revisit both her build and her lobby. The September 10 update changes Erneste and Dawnbringer, continues the second-anniversary event, and adds controls for choosing an aide’s affection level and holding certain special-interaction poses.
The combat changes shift several effects toward Melee ATK. Erneste’s revised personal trait applies a melee-attack buff to allies and a corresponding debuff to enemies at the start of a round. Her special trait now adds block chance and makes successful attacks increase the target’s damage taken.
Dawnbringer Pulls Enemies Into the Problem
Dawnbringer’s signature skill now boosts speed and Melee ATK, extends the relevant ally buff, and creates an aftershock around the wielder after a successful attack. That aftershock pulls enemies inward and deals extra Slash damage. Frontline Disruptor remains an available leap attack with a knockback.
The published rework table uses placeholders for several new values. The changes to how the skills work are clear, but the post does not supply a complete set of final percentages. Check the in-game skill descriptions when comparing exact numbers for a build.
Your Aide Can Revisit an Earlier Mood
The new affection-level selector is reached through the speech-bubble button in the lobby. Open the affection settings and choose an available level to use that level’s interactions. Earlier responses are available from that same menu.
Costumes with special interactions gain another control. Start the interaction, open the Talk menu, and choose the option asking the aide to stay in that pose. The screenshots below show both controls.
Anniversary Rewards and Costume Changes
Part 2 of Cheers to Our Two Years adds repeatable event stages, achievements, attendance rewards, and an exchange shop. Its event period ran from September 10 until the September 23 maintenance. The Leah, Blessed Cat Bell, Dawnbringer, and DMP-9 Prototype rerun searches also ended on September 23.
Erneste’s Bikini Armor of Valor arrives through her season pass, which runs until October 8 at 07:00 KST. New Leah and Yeon Chae-young costumes came through separate packs. Nika’s Angelic Vacation and Marhim’s Black Cat Vacation gain dance interactions automatically for existing owners.
The update also adds a Special Training stage and fixes several interface problems, including Steam dialogue progression with the space bar and an English Ines affection-achievement error. Juza’s balance changes make her damage to allies equal 11% of the affected ally’s maximum HP and delay Crazy Stance until after the first turn.
