Kincaid is an archaeologist whose fieldwork involves alien ruins, dangerous creatures and a frankly flexible definition of research. The Adventures of Kincaid is a side-scrolling action platformer, so most of your time is spent moving through pixel-art worlds, crossing hazards and fighting what lives there. The adult encounters are woven around that adventure rather than replacing it with a menu of static scenes.
A Wolf Girl With a Ship and a Sidekick
Ai, an artificial intelligence aboard Kincaid’s ship, supports her from orbit. The ship is planned as a place to prepare for later trips, while exploration is meant to lead to secrets, optional bosses and power-ups. Those larger-world features are listed as plans for the unfinished game, so the current public preview should not be mistaken for the entire proposed three-planet campaign. The official screenshots clearly show platforming, enemies and environmental hazards already forming the playable core.
Her Journal Gets the Spicy Footnotes
Kincaid can be pulled toward encounters with male, female and more unusual alien characters. Unlocked adult scenes go into a journal for revisiting later. The art switches between small animated sprites and larger illustrated moments, a contrast that gives the game its particular identity: a proper platforming expedition that occasionally lets its heroine get thoroughly sidetracked. A public Windows preview is available from the developer on itch.io, while the Steam release has no announced date.
