Animal control probably didn't prepare Victor Shelby for this assignment. In Tamer: King of Dinosaurs, the Los Angeles officer is abducted by aliens and stranded on a deadly dinosaur planet with four alien women. Keeping the group alive means gathering resources, completing quests, crafting weapons, and facing predators that regard your budding household as lunch.
Based on Michael-Scott Earle's harem novel series, this single-player action-adventure combines dinosaur combat and taming with fort building and a dating sim. Your companions contribute to the tribe's survival as well as its romantic possibilities, linking relationship progression to the practical business of making a home on a hostile world.
Animal Control Gets a Bigger Spear
Victor can craft and upgrade spears, clubs, and axes for melee combat, with a bow and arrows also available when dinosaurs come hunting. The adrenaline system enables special attacks and graphic executions, giving combat a deliberately bloody edge. Sheela, your cat-like hunting partner, joins most quests, helps build weapons, and provides combat training.
You can tame dinosaurs and ride them across the map. Apex predators still roam the landscape, so transportation doesn't make a trip outside camp safe.
Four Women, One Very Busy Tribe
Each companion brings a specialty. Sheela handles combat, while Galmine the Gardener supplies recipes for food, potions, and other uses for the plants you gather.
Trel-Idil-Iria, Duchess of Family Iria, supplies both building expertise and a formidable opinion of herself. Winning her over brings help with crafting tools and constructing the fort. Kacerie, a pink-haired stylist from a world slightly more technologically advanced than Earth, helps with the appearance of the women's outfits and the new fort once you've formed a strong relationship. Courtship has some unusually practical benefits here.
Respect Before Romance
Respect quests develop each relationship. All four romances are compatible: you can pursue the whole cast, and the women accept sharing a partner.
Enough respect unlocks consensual, explicit adult scenes with controls for position, pace, outfits, lighting, and camera angle. Adult content is part of the relationship progression, alongside dialogue about love, sex, and procreation, revealing clothing, kissing, and hugging. The romance has its own progression requirements, just as the fort needs more than good intentions.
A Story Told Across 28 Days
The adventure spans 28 in-game days. The studio advertises nearly six hours of full-body cinematic performance capture, with professional actors in romance, conflict, and other story scenes.
Tamer: King of Dinosaurs launched on June 4, 2026, and is listed in Early Access. Developed and published by Ride the Lion Studios, it is available on Steam for Windows as a single-player game. The regular US price was $24.99.
