Only Cards opens with an absurd case: a man dies after seeing an overwhelming nude, and detective McSnoop has to find out what happened. The clues arrive as scrambled picture pieces. Each encounter turns those pieces into a puzzle, while a deck of tool cards gives you ways to manipulate the board. It is a jigsaw game and a deckbuilder sharing the same scandalous evidence folder.
Cards That Change the Puzzle
You have piece cards to fit into an image and a separate deck of tools that can make a difficult layout more manageable. Building that deck is the strategic layer. The developer lists 39 cards with different abilities and six characters with their own stories. There is no time limit, so the pressure comes from solving the board efficiently, not a countdown.
A Mystery With a Wink
The artwork is part of the reward, but the detective premise gives the gallery a reason to exist. The store advertises 12 spicy pictures with dressed and undressed versions. That is a developer count, not a promise of dozens of unseen scenes. Only Cards is for someone who likes unlocking an image by doing more than dragging one tile into place—and who does not mind the case file flirting back.
